 Komang Budiasa was born with Severe Cleft Palette, no roof to his mouth so his nose and mouth were one cavity, his mother brought him to us and asked for our help when he was about 2 months old, he was very underweight as he was unable to get suction to drink enough milk from his mothers breast, also he had Pneumonia.
Treatment meant a short stay in Hospital to find a way to get him to be able to swallow, and treat him for Pneumonia, then back to the house to keep him on special formula till his weight had increased from 3Kg to 5.5Kg so that he could be returned to Sanglah to have the first of three operations.
Monday the 9th of July 07 Budiasa went into Hospital and had the first operation Tuesday 10th July Wednesday back to the house, big difference in his ability to eat seemed to be able to swallow a lot better.
 Friday 20th July Budiasa scratched his mouth ripping out stitches opening up one side of the Surgeons carefully placed top lip but fortunately the surgeon was able to repair it easily.
Saturday 4th August his sisters Iluh 8 years and Kadek 5 years were brought down to us as granny who had been looking after them said she was unable to cope with them.
Komang Budiasa continues to do well being fed Neosure formula and Milna Bubur his health is improving all the time at this time the operations are still ongoing so we hope to be able to give an update in the near future.
